The Apprentice jumped the shark? The hell you say!

Good lord. I'm 2 minutes into the new celebrity apprentice and have already lost interest. The youngest "celebrity" is a case holder from Deal or No Deal so I guess I'll opt for No Deal.

Oy.

New case and battery for my iPhone

Well well... I broke down and bought this case which is also a backup battery. Check this out if you want to see the incase product.

First impression after one full day... pretty nice! It certainly makes it a bit thicker but it isn't that bad. I went from 7AM till about 7PM without even a dent in my phone charge. At 9:30 I'm prob about 15 to 20% down on the phone charge so not the two days use I was hoping for but pretty good! I could take a long flight with this kind of charge, or not have to plug in while at the office, and that's about what I was hoping to get.

Family humor

This won't matter to anyone but me... and that's ok as it is my blog... I laugh my ass off when my mom says things like, "I was reading your blog today..."

Why does this make me laugh? Many people in my life love the heck out of me and still don't read my blog. My parents are counted in that number and apparently they haven't heard from me in a while and went so far as to resort to my blog as a source of contact.

The result of this is that I feel like I should update my blog... so expect more folks! Here's to 2009!

Losing a job isn’t always that bad…

A quote worth reading (IMHO)

I made this my Skype status yesterday and a few people commented on how much they liked it so I thought I'd share it:

"The voice of reason is often drowned out until all the other voices are quieted by the shock of failure."

Catching up with friends

As most people who know me know, I love my Korean BBQ lunches on Saturday. There isn't much that will get in the way of me making it there since I can't just bolt over during the work week. But this week Alice and I got to go and catch up with Chad, Jen and the new baby over lunch. I guess one plus to our neighborhood is the new baby's r us is a draw. :-) Anyway- it was awesome catching up with them and totally trumped the Korean BBQ run.

Follow-up note: the universe balances out once again. ;-) Gersh came to town and we met for dinner Wednesday night as we often do and he suggested Korean. So, all is right with the world.
